Just got the new Scout mount from ADM! What is so great about this mount is that it is $30 dollars cheaper than the ADM Recon and is $46 cheaper than its nearest competitor! That is a lot of cost savings and will interest the more budget minded shooters that have always wanted a quality QD mount, but couldn’t justify the price.
The other advantage of this mount is the weight savings. It weighs in at 6 ounces (standard Recon is 8.8 ounces).
The scout series of mounts will have one lever for added weight and cost savings. The mounts will have all the features of the recon series . The scout series of mounts have one lever but this does not mean you give up strength. All of our mounts have 1.375 surface area of contact on the moving side . The competition only has .375 per lever. Do the math , These mounts will be offered in both 1.0 inch and 30mm versions.
NICE PICTURES GRANT
thank you
ADM.
As a hardcore LaRue fan all Im gonna say is–pretty nice! Now if I can just get ADM to reply to my emails…
C4, do you see an EER version of the type coming down the pike? Id like to get on board with a TR-21 sometime soon and this might be a good way to do that.
I’ll be doing some training today, and will be bringing out a TR-21 in a ADM Scout mount to shoot with. I’ll let you know how it does, and if I forget, shoot me an email.
How is what different? The Scout mount? Well first, it uses only ONE lever instead of two. This drastically reduces the cost. It also cuts weight (slightly).
The lever is 100% tooless (just use your finger to tighten or loosen the lever).
