My 6933 just hit the dealer today. (yippee!) We sent off the paperwork and I had time to grab a quick photo. As you can see, the 6933 comes with the new stock now. I think it’s a bit heavier than the old style, but I like it. It locked up tight and didn’t make any noise. Guess I’ll have an update in 6 months or so…
That’s a great rifle! How long did it take from the time your dealer placed the order till it arrived? I’ve been contemplating putting in an order for a 6933 myself but pretty much every time I ask for anything Colt, it’s out of stock. I agree that the Rogers stock is ugly as sin! It probably works fine, but I would have to put a Sopmod or old M4 style stock on it.
I bought my 6933 from dealer stock last July, with the ATF stamp coming back on January 25, ‘Pending’ five months to the day. It’s a damned nice rifle. Mine has the old stock, which I prefer.

It was about 2 months. There was some issue with the Form 3 for some reason, so I don’t know if that’s typical or not.
I’m going to try the Rogers stock for a while and see what happens. It was comfortable for me anyway. It’s a long way off, so I’m not even gonna sweat it 'til at least June. <sigh>
Thank you for taking the time to post the photos. I was wondering if the “LEO/Restricted” roll marks were included on the right side of the mag well. I am rather partial to them, but I know that most are not. The current description of the LE6933 rifles at Clyde Armory state that they will no longer have these markings, but will have the Rogers Super-Stoc, as yours does.
In my local gun store, a gentleman was purchasing an LE6720 and it too had the Rogers Super-Stoc. At first I was taken back by the “looks”, but it did feel quite solid with no movement, even without the cam lock engaged. It is tighter than the standard M-4 stock on the LE6920 I have seen, even without locking it down.
Awesome rifle you have purchased! Too bad that it will take 5 - 6 months to take possesion of it and shoot it!
I bought one at Clyde’s a couple of months ago. The display rifle had both the new stock and the LEO/Restricted writing on it. When they brought out mine, it didn’t have the LEO/Restricted writing on it. I sent off a Form 1 for another rifle at the same time as this one. When the Form 1 gets approved, I’ll check the status of my 6933’s Form 4. I’ll bet that Clyde’s has a stack of 6933’s waiting to go to their new homes.
I’m glad mine has the markings. I didn’t know they were getting away from that. I like my stuff to look like I’m not supposed to have it. It’s a good chance to educate people when they ask if it’s legal. That marking helps show people that the government will NOT tell you what you have a right to own, and that you have to learn for yourself.
Has the supply dried up again? I was contemplating getting a second one (even though I don’t have my stamp back on the first one :sarcastic:) and it looks like nobody has them in stock on the web. There’s a local dealer with 3 or 4 in stock at $1495, but I thought they were going for more like $1100-1200. Anybody got the scoop on these things?
On a side note, the ones I saw at the dealer had the new wacky stock and a very plain and boring “M4” rollmark. Also, no “restricted” markings at all on the other side.
It looks like you better embrace the wackyness. The old stock seems to be gone for good.
