function tested the gun today without the can and it cycled fine using wolf 147gr. I’ll try it this weekend and see how it’ll shoot out to distance and see what it’s capable of.
Rifle without optics and can came in at 8lb 6oz, I’m going to see if I can find a lighter optic down the road. Might go with a MK6 3-18 to cut some weight.
I like the switch rail profile a lot better than the REV. In fact, I can’t wait till the switch rail is offered for 5.56 guns this summer.

It looks great. I’ve got a 14" version waiting to go on my CMT receiver set as soon as my barrel arrives this week. It matches the lines of the receiver well, looks great and feels good in the hand.
Yes, it’s very solid. There is a slight gap between the upper and rail, which for some may not be aesthetically pleasing.
Looks real good! I know what you mean by wanting a lighter scope… one of my bolt guns is nearly 12 lbs… granted the scope is just a slice of the pie but it does add up.
WOA barrel is getting swapped out, won’t shoot better than 2MOA without the can on there. Loather walther is going to start cutting their 308 barrels in 2 weeks and i’ll be snagging one of those.
