Whoa…didnt expect that, but then again I dont know much about Nevada’s senator. Thank Heavens for Ted Cruz… Dig in folks.
“…Suddenly there seemed to be a new sound coming from the grass surrounding our perimeter. It was only faint at first, like the sound of water rushing in from a very great distance, but as it got closer it grew louder and louder until it seemed that it would sweep away everything in it’s path. It was at that very moment that each of us squatting or kneeling in the grass realized exactly what it was. Enemy soldiers- dozens of them- were moving through the field double-time, headingin the direction of the firebase!
This was the main enemy attack, the first one had only been a diversion. The NVA commander had held back the main body of his troops far outside the danger zone until the American forces on Jack had committed themselves. Now that the claymores and the phou gas barrels were gone, the Cobras had expended their ammo, and the base camp perimeter wire had been breached by sappers, the main attack moved in to hit Jack hard…”
Am I the only one that has the feeling this is what’s going on here?
Newtown happens, and everyone goes apeshit buying up everything in sight, writing zillions of letters, making calls, attending rally’s and other support to thwart the obvious national attacks. “Ermegherd! Erbermmer’s gernna terk er gerns!”
But the main attacks on the 2A are going to come individually on a state-to-state effort, where they can divide and conquer much more easily, months after everyone’s expended most of their energies and have slipped back into “nothing’s going to pass” mode.
:suicide:
I’d bet we’ll be seeing a LOT more of this sort of thing in the next months/year.
I fully suspect every state will have some form of legislature submitted. The left is going full retard on these bills. Not that they aren’t normally operating full retard. I pray to God that the majority of those that vote will wake up soon and boot these crazies to the curve.
Just because it is introduced does not mean it has a chance in hell of passing.
Pat
Did you read the article? NV has a Dem senate majority. After CO and with NYC and DC bank rolling that operation, anything is know possible.
So that means they don’t have the house. Also not all dems are anti gun and not all repubs are pro gun.
Pat
Dude, after yesterday, and many CO gun owners loosing their rights by one vote, don’t bet the damn farm. Many of the those “representatives” were bought by Bloomberg.
Everyone has a price; everyone has an agenda.
I guess we will see. Colorado has been going more and more blue for a long time now. Nevada is not that way. Also I am betting court action will make most of these bans null and void.
Pat
I fully suspect every state will have some form of legislature submitted.
Hasn’t happened in Alaska. It would be political suicide in even the most liberal district in AK.
It’s called “death by a thousand cuts” gentlemen. The fire has been set and it’s spreading. Sure TX, AK, MT, etc. are okay for now. CO was a test bed for what they intend to do with the rest of the states. Why else would the mayor of a city in NY state have anything to do with legislation in the CO state house?
Luckily many states have short legislative periods. Utah has a short one that ends on March 14 this year. They won’t meet again for a year. Nothing has been introduced yet and with the 2 days they have left, it wouldn’t even get a committee hearing.
Isn’t Montana’s every other year?
Makes it harder to capitalize on the emotional aspect of incidents.
What’s going to be interesting is if they pass all these laws, like Colorado, if the courts don’t issue an injunction, and NYC and whoever, and then it turns out these laws have absolutely no impact on crime or violence what-so-ever, a-la Illinois. What will the libs say then?
Well that’s an easy one.
They will then go after your 10/7 round mags, then they will go after your revolver, after that they will go for your lever and pump action long arms, then they will come for your black powder flint lock, after that they will come for your kids sling shot, pointy sticks, rocks, so on and so fourth.
There was all kinds of crazy ban shit introduced into various states in the 90’s that did not go anywhere. It only takes one Legislator or Sentor to introduce a bill make the Donkey Dick the new state bird. Don’t mean it’s going to become law.
There are credible threats and non-credible ones. I put this in the column of the nonsense introduced in VA, GA, MO and FL. What!?! Say you didn’t hear about VA? Thats because it was rapidly shit-canned.
Better we lern to descriminate between noise like this and signal like Colorado, Cali and the Northeast States.
Don’t worry about Nevada, worry about taking a couple of recall-scalps in Colorado. That will drive a stake thru the heart of this nonsense quicker than anything else.
This is how Obama is probably trying to get his AWB. Get the states to get the AWBs passed so he doesn’t have to pass anything at the federal level. Nah, too many variables and I am probably wrong.
Bloomturd has backed MANY state legislaters within the last couple of years. Expose it as much as you can.
Agreed 100%. Bloomburg has the cash to buy whomever he wants. Too bad he didn’t get that judge who struck down the soda law on his payroll.
Watch Oregon, too…
Google “Oregon Gun Laws”
Helllooooo!! We are talking about the very same State that has elected Harry Reed as their Senator since 1987. :suicide:
