Need some light mout help

I have an issued M4 that is begging for a light. It’s got standard carbine hand guards with a gg&g mount bolted to it around 1:30. The add-on mount isn’t a full 1913 rail, it’s more like the Glock rail. Being a duty rifle, I cannot change any of the hardware.

I have a surefire g2x light that I’d like to mount on that rail. What light mount should I use? Being that the rail is already mounted to the side, I do not want an offset mount.

I have been through the light mount pic thread but don’t remember anything good from all the pics. Thanks for the help.

I dont know if you are Mil or Leo but check your armor they may have something for you without cost.

LEO and I’ve been down the armorer route. They don’t have anything because they used to put Glock pistol lights on the rail thus no need for a ring attachment.
