Hello everyone, im new here but i have a question.
I started a new build and i recently put my ergo f93 on and torqued it to 40in/lbs like the TM said which was basically hand tight.
Well today i found out that you need to go 40ft/lbs so i was wpnderong just how important is this? Is it important enough to justify buying a lower receiver block and new end plate?
The differnce between 40ft/lbs and 40in/lbs is alot. I would torque
more than “Hand tight” if I were you. Try following what it says to do
Ok i was figureing id need to do that. Wish i woulda figured out my handbook had a typo before i staked it lol
Did you already stake it? You can get that one off but its gonna be tough. Try not to bend your reviever. Get a new Castle nut if you want it to look nice. Most DEFINATLEY you want that more than hand tight though.
Yeah its staked, and its not hand tight per say. I used a wrench to do it and i cant remove t by hand but its more like 5ft/lbs
But thanks for the help ill just tap the stakin back and break it off
