I have had this Maadi for a few years and never do anything with it. I would like to get an idea of what a price would be so I could pass it on and pick up some stuff I will use. Thanks (if this is the wrong place Mods please move)

IIRC its a Century Gun imported during the ban.
It would make a good shooter, and someone might have a desire to turn it into a pre-ban clone of an RML.
$500 on a good day. But the market is pretty saturated so I’d say you’re looking at $400-450.
It looks pretty decent, I recall towards the end they started mixing and matching Chinese and Egyptian AK parts to make an abortion called the MISR-90.
That’s about where I would put it as well… $450.00 would be a good deal for both parties.
Keep in mind the Egyptians are much more sought after than the Romanian SAR rifles being much closer to a true AKM built on Russian stuff.
Given that SAR rifles go for $450-550 I’m gonna disagree with you two and say add another $100. Right now with the economy tanked, you might not get what it is worth, but that is about what it is worth.
Those Egyptians were also getting up to $1000 just a year ago during the frenzy, and the early Egyptian Steyr imports were getting twice as much.
If a person was looking to own a single AKM 7.62 for utilitarian needs, that exact Maadi is the one that comes to mind for me. Of all the Egyptian imports, that is the one to have (not counting the Pre89s).
I wouldn’t sell mine for any less than $1,000.00, course I’m not trying to sell mine as you can see.
