Long story short I’m in need of a new mounting screw for my R-1. Will a hardware store carry a suitable replacement that will hold up and is the correct size? I’d like to have it by next week, otherwise I’d just call up Aimpoint.
What type of screw, and what thread size do I need?
Do you have a fastenal store near you?
Probably…will they be able to get me a new one if I bring in one of the others?

They should. I use them a lot for bolts and screws. Even if you don’t know the size they can figure it out. I have one about 3 minutes from my house so I use them a lot.
