So I bought this lower that had the LPK already installed, but I don’t want that lpk in there and want to take it out so I can sell it. Is there a video or pictures somewhere that will show me how to do this. I have no technical knowledge with the AR series of weapons so I need something that a noob will understand. Thanks guys.

It’s fairly easy to do. The first thing is to remove the pistol grip. When you do this a spring and detent will come out. Once this is removed then you can remove the selector lever. Next using the correct size punch gently tap the hammer pin out. It is important because the legs of the hammer spring hold the trigger pin in place. Once you have done this you should be able to tap the trigger pin out and you are done. That’s pretty much it and you should be able to accomplish all of this in under 10 minutes.

Should the hammer be cocked or forward position? when taking the pin out
