I have located a gun from each of the above and I have 2 Colts, and 1 Bushmaster. A few other friends have advised to stay away from the RRA & Bushmasters, so I have narrowed it down to basically the full LMT rifle or another 6920 Colt.
Any suggestions or input would greatly be appreciated since i am probably going to buy tomorrow. Thanks …
I recently got a CMMG SBR for personal use. The local C2/C3 dealer I transferred it through was favorably impressed with it. My casual inspection was favorable too.
However, today I would be hard pressed not to order a Noveske N4 Light Carbine as an SBR. I would also wait for a mid-length gas N4 Light Carbine to show up in a 16 inch form if I wanted a non-SBR version. I think Noveske has a real winner on their hands with that combination. My C2/C3 dealer is pleased with the LMT he stuff he has brought in.
It really comes down to price vs. features vs. durability. A casual range gun has different requirements then a gun your life depends on.
With that many AR’s in your arsenal, it may be time to step up to a turn key Noveske complete rifle or a good LMT Defender 2000 lower end with a solid upper built on a Vltor VIS or a Noveske upper.
Does the LMT come with the SOPMOD stock? Thats a nice stock if you can try it out at the store and typically costs no more than a 6920 to get an LMT with that.
You can get complete LMT lowers with a mil-spec M4 stock or the SOPMOD stock.
Are you looking to get a backup to the carbines you already have, or are you just looking to stuff the safe?
The reason I ask is, you might consider getting something completely different to use for a completely different task.

I have 6 ARs and none of them are identical and all serve different purposes.
If you just want an AR for investment another Colt 6920 would be my choice.
For a shooter AR, I would recommend the LMT they use Rock Creek barrels which are pretty accurate and I would recommend getting the LMT SOPMOD stock if it is an option, upgrading later to the SOPMOD stock would cost more.
