I need help choosing a new scope. This will be going on a Noveske 14.5 Afghan in a LaRue mount. I have it narrowed down to three:
Nightforce NSX 1x4 (FC-2 Reticle)
Trijicon AccuPoint TR24-G (German #4 Crosshair with Green Dot)
Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24 L ( CDI Reticle)
What do you think and why?
If you can think of a better option consider it a write in vote.
I don’t have experience with any of the above optics, but from what I’ve read here the nightforce is pretty much bomb proof, so I voted for that. The NF reticle seems a bit better for CQB stuff than the Trijicon, and I think 1-6x would be overkill on a 14.5 weapon.
Of your options, I thought the Swarovski was the right choice because it goes up to 6x, and if I remember correctly, it is daylight visible.
Well this is what I was looking for, an outside objective opinion. I was just hoping that it would not be 50% each way.
That makes it harder to choose.
