Need BUIS help

Hi All,
I’m new to using any iron sights on an AR other than A1 or A2 style so here’s my problem:

I recently purchased a new Smith and Wesson M&P 15T upper receiver without iron sights (top of the receiver and top of Troy quad rail are the same height) I installed an EOtech and zeroed it in @ 50yds. Accuracy was good enough (about 1.75" groups at 50yds).

Next I ordered some folding sights an ARMS 40L for the back and a Samson quick flip for the back (the one intended for rail mount not the one for gas block height) The website says the Samson is Fmarked height and a good match for the 40L. I’ve had other reflex sights in the past (CMORE on a Bushmaster upper) where I simply zeroed the A2 style sights and then adjusted the dot till it was sitting on the front post wheen looking through the irons. With my current set up the EOtech red dot (already zeroed at 50yds) appears to be about 1/8th" above the front post even if I back out the post till it’s only 1 or 2 clicks from popping out the detent.

I took it to the range just to see how far off it was. POI was about 7" above POA @ 50yds and about 14" at 100yds with no way to adjust POI down ( EO tech was still zeroed fine) Can anyone tell me what’s going on? Should I get an extended front sight post(0.03 longer)? I know the 15T comes with the Troy sights (marked as S&W) are the different height from the sights I bought? Has anyone else had this problem?

Another possibility? When I look at the front area where the barrel exits the quad-rail forearm it is closer to the top rail than the bottom rail by about 1/4" is it possible the barrel is slightly bent? Can anyone with a 15T verify this is how theirs looks? Sorry about being so long winded on my first post, I’m just trying to get this figured out. Thanks in advance for any expertise offered.

Paragraphs are your friend!
Could you please edit that a bit, it is really hard to read.

Now the dot on your EoTech will not be right on the front sight post. Don’t try to use this as a reference. You should sight in each sight seperatly.

You also can’t rely on visual inspection to see if the parts are lined up. If your Barrel was bent as so much as to be 1/4 of an inch off your POI would not be on the paper, hell it may not even be on your range.

Yeah sorry, it is quite a block of words.

I guess the heart of the problem is the iron sights are shooting 7" high @ 50yds and I don’t have anyway to adjust them down and I havn’t figured out why
