My office started an NCAA bracket.
I had Duke going all the way, playing Florida in the title game.
Duke just lost to a 14 seed, a major upset.
Anyone else doing this? I’m not a big sports guy but it seemed fun and I’ve never done it before. Just kinda wish I did a little better.

I NEVER do tournament pools - waste of time & effort. In the Tournament, there’s CAROLINA… and there’s… “other.”
When Carolina’s out, the tournament’s OVER, far as I’m concerned.
Dayton, Harvard, North Dakota State, f-ing Mercer? Nope, this year is defying standard madness rules for picking teams(which is to pick teams with blue colors when available.)
I gotta think the East and Midwest will be the most interesting going forward…and while UVA has an awesome team, if I were picking again I’d probably have Villanova taking it all if they can get past UCONN. Today and tomorrow have some fun match ups though.
I doubt anybody is left in the running for Warren’s billion after yesterday…but the office pools should still be pretty close.

Mercer was not “an upset.” Maybe on paper, but anyone who knows Mercer’s style could see they could handle Duke. This is coming from someone who went to Duke and works at Duke. I hated Duke lost, but def not surprised. I don’t know any serious Duke fan who had them going to The Game…no interior defense, and if Hood and/or Parker are not hitting shots, the game is over.
UNC-Cheat is a paper tiger. Ol’ Roy ain’t that good a coach and his teams are usually marginal in the tourney.
Yeah, my brackets were done by Thursday afternoon. I still like Florida, Louisville could do well, Mich State could win it, and Virginia is my sleeper. I still think Wichita State is suspect, but they could shock everyone and win it all.
That four-point play at the end of regulation was “the shot,” at least so far.

If there wasn’t a Carolina - Duke rivalry, we’d hafta invent it. 
No doubt about the rivalry…I will talk smack about UNC all day until someone outside wants to question it, then it’s on…
I like Princeton, but I hate southern NJ…too cold…
I only wish I woulda picked Duke losing in the first round instead of the second round to Tennessee 
my hate for Duke helps me with brackets lately…they seem to choke first or second round evey year, it’s as sweet as the Yankees shittin’ the bed early in the MLB playoffs (or not even making them)!
They either flame out early, or to go to the Elite 8 (or better). There is no middle ground. It is maddening. Last year they lost to Louisville in the Elite 8; Lehigh the year before on the first round…
