Secret Nazi hideout believed found in remote Argentine jungle
According to a fresh discovery announced over the weekend, it’s also true the Nazis made it deeper into the Argentine jungle in search of refuge than anyone imagined. Hundreds of miles north, along the border with Paraguay, rises the Parque Teyú Cuare. A path winds into the nature preserve, opening to a trove of “mysterious buildings” that are “battered by time,” reported the Argentine newspaper Clarin. “What were these buildings? Who built them? For what?”
The researchers found coins and porcelain inside the structures.
It now appears there may be an answer. According to a team of Argentine researchers led by Daniel Schavelzon of the University of Buenos Aires, the three buildings were built by Nazis. The signs are everywhere. The team found several German coins with dates between 1938 and 1944. They found some German porcelain engraved with “Made in Germany.” And perhaps most telling, they found Nazi symbols, including a swastika, were etched into the buildings.
“We can find no other explanation as to why anyone would build these structures, at such great effort and expense, in a site which at that time was totally inaccessible, away from the local community, with material which is not typical of the regional architecture,” Schavelzon told Clarin, taking a team of journalists to see the site and capture remarkable images of buildings atrophying in the jungle humidity.
The Nazis sent officers and other officials to places all over South America.
I have a neighbor that is an elderly woman from Bolivia and she tell me stories of how her now deceased husband worked with people that knew Klaus Barbie when he was living in Bolivia in the early 80s! She said there were several blonde hair/blue eyed people living in Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil and that they are most likely the descendents of Germans that escaped after WWII.
Pretty primitive, must have been early on right before or after the fall of the Third Reich. Shame many American’s don’t realize how many Nazi’s were given a free pass and given new identities and citizenship here in the states all in the name of the Military Industrial Complex.
Cool story, a subject that always peaks my interests. Makes you wonder how many Mossad agents still comb S. America for the bastards. All but very young guards are dead by now, anyone with rank would have passed by natural causes by now.
watched the Nazi Hunters on Netflix was interesting to see how much they kept going after them and for how long !
for sure tons got free pass Catholic Church helped them out a ton also
I do think some of the scientists that were forced into work for them should have gotten a pass ! the ones that worked for them and were happy about it not so much a free pass
most famous might be Von Braun (spelling) who went on to head NASA and get us into space etc…
My dad told me in 1943 his Liberty ship pulled into Montevideo harbor in Uruguay to pick up a load of grain & beef to take to England. They weren’t allowed shore leave because it was unsafe because of so many Nazis. I bet most stayed in South America after the war.
Compare that to Hollandia Harbor in New Guinea as they mobilized for the invasion of the Phillipines a year later. Japanese snipers were routinely taking potshots but it was declared safe enough.
Regarding “paperclip” there is a difference between a nazi party member and a nazi war criminal. The biggest example is certainly von Braun. Without him, we wouldn’t have beat the Russians to the moon, or even necessarily gotten there at all. He was absolutely a nazi, and in charge of Hitler’s V1 and V2 weapon development. He also relied on slave labor for production of those weapons.
Does that make him a war criminal? Some say yes, some say no. But given the “deal” we gave to those at Unit 731 most of the guys who were covered by “paperclip” were boy scouts.
Quite true. We didn’t have a U.S. space program… We had a defacto German space program. Von Braun often denied it, but I’ll bet good money he knew exactly where, how, and who built those V-2’s… When I was in my 20’s I worked with a guy who was 13yr old in Germany when the war ended… He saw a few things the Nazi’s did. Like one time, when he was in school, the Gestapo stopped by, and started asking the kids questions, one of them was, what do your parents think about Hitler? Well, a couple of the kids in his class volunteered what their parents said… He told me, a couple weeks later those kids were no longer in school, and the houses they lived in were empty, when anyone asked what happened to them they were told, 'they’ve been relocated" He told me they never saw them again… When you talk to someone who was there, and saw what was going on, it takes on a new meaning. Anyway This guy, if he’s still alive, is in his early 80’s. So, yeah, by now most, if not all, of the Nazi’s who made to South America, are dead.
Well, the Germans did export pottery before the war, so I don’t find that unusual, A little more digging around on the site might be warranted here, But who knows…One thing is for sure, a lot of those bastards made it there, and lived well into old age and died, having never paid for their crimes, and never once admitting they were wrong…
I would think it’s safe to say that “Made in Germany” was simply printed in English in the article, because the article is written in English…I wouldn’t read too much in to that.
And considering Kreiger is a genetic clone of Hitler…hmmmm…
