Great video showing the current obstacle course that’s being used. The person running the course has a helmet cam, so it makes for some pretty cool footage. Makes it look really easy:cool:
Dayum. He made that cargo net his bitch. This guy is a beast. Ive never seen a faster cargo net scale.
Weavers are fun.Your abs get toasted.most of ours are logs tho, not bars.
It’s clear he has an understanding of how to complete the obstacles. He does make it look easy, but I bet his pace would appear much faster if he wasn’t in the sand. Impressive.

Looks like it would have made a great gym class. I know I wouldnt even get near the 12 minute mark though. (let alone this dude’s 6 minute something run!!)
One thing I did notice is when he was climbing the tower right before the Burma bridge, I’ve never seen anyone do it like that. Normally I see guys use a grip like they are about to do a chin up, and they swing their legs up and around while facing outboard on the tower. The way he did it seemed like it took less effort. Either way, I’d love to run that course:cool:
My last APFT was awesome, but I still doubt I could do that course in 12 minutes at this time.
If I were him, I would make that a favorite on my Ipod to show chicks at the bar!

Army Weavers are bigger! That said, It would probably take me a couple runs before I could do that in close to or under 12 minutes. Sand and boots… ugh. And I’m a 300+ APFTer.

He paced himself very well. As someone mentioned, he has run the course plenty of times.
I’d take HIS time on the course ANY day! That is one, bad, mofo!!!
That cargo net looks pretty taught. Id like to get on one like that sometime.
