The 2023 Nashville Covenant School murders understandably received massive news coverage when they occurred. The fight over obtaining the murderer’s diary also received news attention. But when “nearly four dozen pages” of the murderer’s diary were finally released last week, the mainstream media completely ignored it. It turns out that behind the scenes, the FBI had fought hard against the diary’s release. Some Covenant School parents also opposed releasing the diary because it would force families to re-live the nightmare. The Tennessee Star’s parent company, Star News Digital Media, successfully filed two lawsuits to obtain the diary.
Five days after the release of the diary, with the exception of the New York Post, which is a national news outlet, the news coverage was limited to seven other conservative outlets such as The Daily Wire and Newsbusters.
The school murderer was transgender, and her diary reveals a suicidal left-winger who hated whites. The FBI expressed concern that the release of the diary from a transgender person could lead the public “to dismiss the attacker as mentally ill,” which would “further permeate the false narrative that the majority of attackers are mentally ill.” It worried that the diary could “potentially inflam[e] the public.”
I really wish they would stop making heros out of these clowns.
The shooters name should be published as “John Dumb” and his manifesto should say, “I’m a mentally defective piece of trash that should have ate rat poison a decade ago”.
These incidents weren’t such a big thing before the internet, because the mentally defective didn’t get much publicity.
The problem is they want to release the ones that are politically convenient to them and hold back the ones that aren’t. Release none or release all and stop putting your damned jackboots on the scales! :mad:

Those bastards would have NO problem “inflaming the public” if it was even thought a shooter was a MAGA or “right-wing” type. None whatsoever. The “manifesto” would’ve been released within days. But let it be a FRUITLOOP FREAK (I’m trying to be as offensive as possible) like that dyke was and katy-bar the door, we can’t have that exposed!
Aggravated by the hormone ****ery on top of the existing mental issues. I have a friend who’s in that crowd that thinks cases like this are frequently massive OD’s on the hormones trying to chase quick results, not letting the brain and body adjust to the hormonal changes. (AKA, same hormonal mechanics that make teenagers in general go batshit crazy at puberty…) Still self-centered pieces of crap that makes them walking grenades, but that’s my friend’s theory about the neurochemical mechanism that pulls their pins.
Part of me agrees, but there is also a pattern of behavior that can be a warning and indicator that most people should be aware of.
When one kills children to further a political agenda, well that’s not really too much different from when nazi’s killed children to further a political agenda and anyone that supports that political agenda should definitely be looked at closely. Let’s not forget the LBGTXYZ community actually came out in SUPPORT of this shooter and viewed the murderer as the victim.
Perhaps there’s a middle way, document the pattern of behavior but Unperson the name. Delete their name from the system entirely, make them just “Mass Murdering Trash,” they don’t even get to have a name on a gravestone. Bring back the Roman practice of Damnatio Memoriae.
I have little problem with that. Problem is dirtbags will still worship them by name and everyone else will just call them Columbine shooters, Parkland shooters, etc. Personally I’d rather go with “Child murdering POS [insert actual name here] who brought shame on their family and infamy to everything they stood for…yeah THAT person.”
Nobody in the firearms community is wearing a Tim McVeigh shirt, but lots of people out there rocking Che gear. If anyone was associated with the Nashville shooter, they should see the FBI in their rear view and across the street for months to a year until they are 100% checked out and cleared.
No more “special people” with “special consideration” and “elevated status” because of [whatever].
Do good things, get good deeds social consideration. Do messed up stuff and get public scorn.
If ever there was anyone we needed to de legitimize and hold accountable, it were those who gave us revolutionary counter culture BS in the first place and sent us down this sad, demented road. It is possible to work towards equality without taking power from A and giving it all the B because in the past B was treated badly. That really is like discovering you put an innocent man in jail and trying to fix it by letting everyone out of jail.
Sorry but I am not going to fuel the left’s defense of this as mental illness. She showed willful intent and planned the event. That part of the leftwing is proving themselves to be the militant bastards that left is trying to make the right out to be.
Don’t we usually find out after the fact that multiple LE groups/agency’s were looking at the person before the killing happened, and they did nothing to prevent the murders?
The shooting at MSU (Lansing MI) a year or two back, is still in the news here. “Ban guns because they kill people” are what we keep hearing and the legislature here is writing many antigun laws.
Fun fact about the shooter that they are talking about is that he was stopped by a state trooper a year or so before the college shooting and was arrested for having a concealed firearm in the vehicle with no permit. There were a few other minor charges I don’t recall right now but the arrest was a felony, which would make him not able to posses a firearm.
The prosecutor knocked the charge to a misdemeanor and gave him probation, leaving him eligible to buy/posses firearms later.
I’ve read he didn’t complete probation and that he did complete probation, either way he was at the point of being stopped and they essentially told him to go shoot up the college.
His name is all over the net now.
The many idiot students on the news constantly, demanding antigun laws is disgusting as they use the shooters name saying he did xyz because guns are bad. They forget that the guy was in the system for a few seconds and they cut him lose, we don’t hear that part out of their mouths.
Yep and there were some in that lefty FREAK environment that actually got pissy about local radio talk show hosts not referring to the killer by her preferred pronouns! That got stifled pretty quick but the nerve of those bastards…
I am still of the mindset that
-like .45fan shooters become generic so their names don’t become a thing.
-All living relatives to the shooter are rounded up and given the same fate as the victims.
-Wipe out their entire family tree literally and figuratively forward and back as far as it goes so no record exists of them.
-All finances from the family tree are seized to split between victims.
Let this happen a few times and you can bet personal responsibility becomes more of a priority.
My ideal would be to full-on Blacksite them, nobody hears about what happened to them just “poof what happened to so-and-so?” But yeah, public humiliation has a major place… there’s a reason so many old Colonial era towns had stocks in the town square, and vice squads used to publish names and mugs of arrested johns.
