As for the paying of taxes once a year…Paying taxes weekly is like giving the Goverment an interest free loan. We as citizens don’t recieve the same . Try owing a little to the IRS and what happens…you get hit up for penalties and interest. As Grandma use to say. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander…or at least it should be.
Not many people do. I lose count of zeros after a million. I do know that billion is a whole lot more than million and trillion is more than billion. 
Now put it this way and I know exactly how much:
500,000,000 (500 million) = 5 x 10E8

I’ve said that ever since I began paying estimated quarterly taxes. Make every one in the country do that and see how fast the people demand an overhaul of the tax code.
