Oh boy. The media is trying to condition/brainwash as many people as possible to believe that anyone who:
• owns tactical weaponry
• believes the US dollar/US economy/World economy is hanging by a thread
• has stored some provisions for a multitude of disasters
. . . is bat-shit crazy, and probably a mass murderer, or at least a danger to society.

When it seems like a majority of the public and the establishment are against you and everything you’re for, you reach a point where you not only stop caring, but you even derive strength from it. Because they wouldn’t be so vocal about it if you weren’t barking up the right tree. So, chins up. We know in our heart of hearts that what we see is real. What we believe is right, and what we say is true. So wear it like a badge of honor. Maybe not publicly, but to yourself. Be not ashamed to be who you are. Screw their noise.
Thanks for that. I’ve been feeling like we went from a majority to a minority literally overnight. With so much media bias, Cerberus dumping Freedom Group, networks canceling gun related shows and now gun owners being painted as a fringe group of nutbag preppers, it feels like we just lost the war in an instant. For the first time in my life, I am actually concerned that losing our 2A rights could become a reality. I needed that reminder.
I cancelled the media, so I hadn’t noticed. Save for the story of Nathanael Green on “Washington’s Generals” this morning on the History Channel. Now I’M reinvigorated.
I’d suggest we all watch a LOT more of the same…

You know no matter what she was or wasn’t, or what he was or wasn’t, the fact remains that she made it possible for her mentally unstable son to have access to these weapons. Why is no one talking about that. I don’t care if she was a “prepper”, while the kid is the person responsible for this, the mother made it possible for him to carry it out.
Maybe he hid around the corner and picked up on her safe combination and she didn’t know it.
I’m not ready to condemn her just yet.
Could be, and again he is resposible for his actions. But I know the measures I took when I had non-troubled teenagers in my house. I never really worried about my kids attempting to compromise my safe, but I took no chances either. When the safe is opened no one but me is in the room. I am the person who brought the weapons into the house and I am responsible for them.
Who said she even had a safe? Many just store their firearms in a closet or in a case under their bed.
While I would always recommend a real steel fire safe to store firearms I would be extremely careful and would change the combo asap if I ever suspected one of my kids or any other person saw the combination.
It has been said that the mother was going Thur the court trying to get a conserver ship over her son to mentally commit him to a hospital due to his behavior. If I were his mother and that afraid of my son the firearms would have been relocated from the premise or at least locked up in a serious gun safe.
Some way or how the mother allowed access to the firearms so in part she is at fault for the shootings.
Nobody here knows if she had a safe. No one knows if she did if it was locked.
No one knows if she had a locked safe and the kid took a crowbar and sawzall to it.
We just don’t know. We know what the media wants us to know.
He shot his mother while she was in bed. A kid with a sawzall and crowbar would have a difficult time opening my safe in this manner whilst I slept. As Phila PD said she should not have even had weapons on the premises living with someone whom you deemed troubled to the point they needed to be committed. It is poor judgement at best. The media is pointing all of their collective fingers in all the wrong directions and the “RINO’S” are not correcting them. This is going to be nothing but bad for all law abiding gun owners.
True. Sad thing is that she didn’t see this coming. He probably got her by surprise too and that happens when you are not aware of your surrounding. Gives me to believe she underestimated her son.
