For my first post here I’ll try to be a contributing member and post this review:D and it is fitting as there was a thread here not long ago that was asking about Mystery Ranch packs and I was 0-2 for having Kifaru packs ‘work’ for me:(, so I checked them out.

I stuffed the pack with pillows and clothes to show full volume.

Here’s an inside look
on the left is the radio pocket that can also be used for hydration reservoirs.
I use a Tactical Tailor Intermediate 3L hydration ‘pack’ that fits perfect. looking straight down notice the ‘false’ bottom that seperates the sleeping bag compartment from the main load which can be un-hooked to make the main load compartment bigger

here’s the sleeping bag compartment ( it’s a Snugpak )

for those that dislike top loaders, it has a center zip access also.

the top lid also detaches to be a daypack with it’s own shoulder straps

oddly enough with all the bell’s and whistles, it does not have a hydration port, they seam to emphasize the water bottle pockets, but I found them a bit difficult to use, especially when trying to put the bottle back, but it’s easy enough to run the hose out the top and under the lid. ( I have since painted the hose a brown color so it looks better/matches )

here are some outdoor ‘action’ pics:rolleyes:![]()

any questions about any thing I forgot, just ask and I’ll try to answer.
