I wrote this with the newbie in mind looking at optics, and I am quite proud of it.
My personal photography has gotten better over the years as well.
Mainly looking for suggestions to any changes that I should make or things to add. I want to keep it roughly the same length so it can be read in one sitting though.
Thanks for checking it out.

I thought your effort in general was fine, especially if you were writing an ad for the Burris MTAC. But I do take exception to your reticle description. Any reticle, whether it is based in Mils, MOA, or a BDC style need to be mapped to your load, in your rifle. A BDC reticle and BDC turrets do NOT compensate for anything. They are just etching on glass or a turret that approximates that X load that generates Y velocity may or may not hit a target at such and such range. For your rifle it may be close, or may be off. If it’s off, your stuck with adjusting and building a revised drop table that tells you that, for example, the 300 dial position is really dead on @ 285 yds or maybe 315 yds.
A BDC is really no faster and no easier to use than a Mil or MOA reticle. And the longer the range, the worse a BDC reticle is (due to a whole host of environmental factors), and the easier a Mil or MOA reticle to use becomes.
Your input is appreciated. I will mark in some revisions based on your advice.
I suppose a full disclaimer is needed though: I, knife-sniper, receive no monetary compensation from any firearm related company, including Burris inc, for my guides. The MTAC was sent to me for 90 days as a factory demo for photography purposes (all photos are taken by me, myself, and I) and must either be sent back to Burris inc. or purchased. Any financial compensation comes from google AdSense which allows me to pay for the server, back up host, and webmaster.
In other words: I can’t quit my 5 day a week hour commute yet.
The bit at the end is a courtesy to Burris, and I’m not afraid to say its a nice optic for the money. That’s if your in the variable market. My primary rifle has a TA31F on it.
Thanks for your thoughts!
