My Quasi MK18 build...

Just wanted to post some pics of my build. It’s a quasi MK18 build because not all of the parts are true to the original or current MK18 CQBR. Big thank you to Rob (GotM4) @ Virginia Arms Co for assembling my upper. If you live in the Northern VA area and haven’t been to their shop, stop by its really really nice. I didn’t have enough time to loiter because I got there 15mins before they closed (damn NOVA traffic).

The Upper consists of the following:

Colt Upper Receiver
Noveske 10.5" N4 Light Bbl
Advance Armament Corp Blackout 51T Flash hider
Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II Rail System
Knights Armament Low Pro Gas Block
Knights Armament Micro Front & Rear BUIS
Bravo Company USA Gunfighter MOD 4 Charging Handle

I’ve got the Noveske N4 SBR Lower and Advance Armament M4-2000 pending on their Form 4’s. More pics to come!

really nice setup, I am really liking those rails, was gonna go with a monolithic upper but I am thinking about that style rail instead.

Yep the DD RIS series is really nice, I’m glad they did a run of Black rails this year. All I need now is an Aimpoint T1, Surefire Scout M300, KAC Handstop, and Redi-Mod

That is one sick carbine! Very envious of your good fortune. I wish I lived in a state which alowed me to have an SBR (I’m lucky I have a non neutered carbine in CA.). I would go SBR with a can in a hot second, and your setup would be ideal.

Im a fan of the Advance Armament Corp Blackout 51T Flash hider after seeing it on this build. Your build is amazing! Cant wait to see more pics of it.
