I just got one of these the week before last. I prefer its feel over my similarly configured BCM more. The DD feels much lighter, probably has to do with the LW barrel and omega rail vs RIS II rail.
Mine only has the Black Creek, GA roll mark. I hope it is not inferior to the Savanah roll mark.

The Daniel Defense factory used to be in Savannah prior to moving to their current location in Black Creek. Therefore, the earlier made models get the Savannah markings. I was actually concerned that the Savannah marked frames were not as “up to date” as the current ones, so i inquired about any differences, and was assured that everything is the same, other than the stampings.

Nope, ANY magazine with a capacity over 15 rounds is a felony in this not so great state.
MA isn’t much better could even be worse. Laws that don’t even make any sense.
WOW! That is terrible. Makes me very glad to live in SC which is a very gun friendle state. It has never taken me more than 10 minutes to make any weapon purchase (AR’s, Pistols, Rifles) with the exception of NFA items. Just walk in, purchase, dealer makes 1 phone call, walk out with purchase. I love it here!

Since the last picture, I’ve replaced the VFG with the Daniel Defense stubby version, added some Magpul XTM rail panels, and swapped out the TG Battlegrip for a Magpul MOE, which fills my hand better.
Most importantly, I finally got my T1 Micro back from Aimpoint, so it’s now part of my carbine, sitting on a DD Micro mount.
