Just got the new barrel and bolt in today. Sold my 20" barrel and bolt and picked up a new bead blasted midlength. I kept the JPVTAC Rifle length HG but since the toprail didn’t go the full length I shaved the end off and refinished it so that it more closely resembled the Troy VTAC I had on my 6.8 SBR. It looks good and helped bring the weight and center of gravity back. The gun is very handy and I’m sure it will be an excellent performer. It will be getting either a Magpul RVG or AFG/2. Can’t decide which one yet. Will go try to get some range time in next week when other parts arrive so that I can go blasting away on all of them.
