How does it shoot? I haven’t had a chance to use my Young M16 BCG yet. I’m curious about them since they seem to have a F stamped into them. I think G&R’s BCGs are marked similarly but the marking is ground down. It looks like somebody tried to “sterilize” my Young BCG but failed.

Very nicely done!
Going with a Mega lower/upper in my current build as well.
must just be the phosphate ones are F marked? i have a young m16 NM bcg, no stamps, just Y/M engraved in the carrier.
and it shoots great… nice and heavy, good balance for the middy 18" bbl it serves
I just finished it a few days ago, and have not yet had a chance to go to the range. I am chomping for sure at the bit to go rip it. I will post with the update on the Young BCG. From all indications this BCG, matched with the heavy barrel WOA should make a smooth firing combo to be certain.
To the issue of markings on it, I have found no evidence on mine that it is reworked from another manufacturer. It does have the etched Y with NM logo on the ejection port side of the front bolt.
Mine is the phosphated BCG, I don’t believe the NM are marked like mine.
