My Ideas on a .300

I admit my initial post was a bit aggressive (I’m used to dealing with Marines). But I would like everyone’s thoughts on these ideas for a build:

Base Weapon: DDM4V5 .300
Comp: AAC Brakeout 51T
F/S: Troy HK style Folding
Rail: DD RISE II
Foregrip; Troy Battle Grip
Optics: Aimpoint Micro T-1 w/LaRue Mount
FCG: ALG ACT
R/S: Troy Folding Rear
Grip: MAGPUL MIAD ((w/smallest format I shoot with gloves)
Stock: MAGPUL STR
Sling: Vickers VCAS

Again I would like to know anyone’s thoughts on these ideas.

My $0.04 is that you have a good plan going. Is the breakout going to be the attachment for a can at some point? If it is, I would have the can picked out and be sure you want it (and it is available) before going with the brake.

" Is the breakout going to be the attachment for a can at some point?"

Yep sure is, I plan on getting a “Mini-7” as soon as they’re available next year.

Then I would say everything looks good. I have no experience with Troy sights, but I like most of their other stuff so I would imagine they are solid as well.

I take it this will be a defensive rifle or do you plan on hunting with it? Not that the it would necessarily change anything - just curious.

Yea the plan is for it to be a short range (out to around 200 meters) fighting weapon to supplement my 17.
