originally i ordered the eotech exps 2 standard model but i think i was sent the QD model which i do not want. looking at the photo, do all the eotechs have this lever or is this definitely the QD model? also it doesnt say in the manual or on the box if its the QD
Looks QD to me…there’s the lever…
That is an EXPS 2 (non NV). The XPS models don’t have the QD & the buttons are on the back. I’m guessing you wanted the XPS.

If you ordered the EXPS but didn’t want the QD, then you screwed up, not the vendor.

I guess here is a better question, do all the exps2’s come with QD? I jus want a standard eotech exps
The vendor is the one who told me that the model i was ordering was not QD
All EXPS=QD & 7mm riser & side controls
All XPS=no QD or riser & rear controls
#3=NV
#2=non NV

Can i co-witness with a Xps though? I was told i needed an exps
I believe you should be able to do a lower 1/3 co-witness with the EXPS. If you’re wanting an absolute co-witness you’ll need the XPS.

To answer yours, the EXPS will give you lower 1/3 co-witness.
The XPS will be absolute co-witness.
