My first build

So after lurking on this site for awhile, you’ve cost me a few thousand dollars :stuck_out_tongue:

BCM lower
BCM 16" LW Middy with DD Lite 12"
Magpul MOE furniture(changed to CTR)
Battlecomp
Streamlight TLR-1
Troy BUIS
MS2 and VCAS sling(love it)
Aimpoint H-1 on DD mount

Now 1,130 rounds through it so far. It has had one fail to feed(brown bear) on its second outing, and 2 short strokes from wolf ammo.

Messing with stippling

Very nice!

Nice, I’d love to see some more pictures (pull back a bit to get the whole rifle).

Great looking rifle!

How much weight would you lose if you omitted the rail covers?

Just a rough guess I would say 4oz maybe? I dont have a small scale.

looks great! keep shooting it.
everytime i see a bcm lightweight upper it makes me wanna just buy one now instead of waiting…
how’s the recoil with the battlecomp and the lightweight barrel?
that’s basically what i want to build for my next upper. afg, H1, you got exactly what i would have lol

The recoil is pretty good, a bit more push straight back than an a2 but much less muzzle rise.

Going to a 2 day 1000rd course in Sept. to put it through its paces.

Added new pics and updated round count info.

Added other info.

very nice!!!

Very nice setup! Especially for a first build… That is pretty much the build I have in mind for my next one

What are you shooting at? Random stuff? Targets at known distances? How are you liking the battle comp? You should put the A2 on if you haven’t shot without the BC 1.0 just to feel the difference… it blew me away!

wow, thats nice !!

keep lurking, … and you’ll build a 601/602/603/605…

peabody

I’m doing the normal drills, 2x2x2, 1-5, El Prez, etc. My friend has a camp where I marked off all ranges up to 150yds. Loving the battlecomp much better than the A2, it’s made the biggest effect on my shooting.

Already have a spr and a 12.5" sbr planned. :dirol:

The BC 1.0 is pretty amazing :), especially compared to an A2. Take some video! Would love to see that BCM beast in action =D

Nice looking rig you got there…makes me want to start mine even sooner than planned.
