My First AR15 Ever

After doing a bit of research, I finally purchased all the parts and built my own AR15. I could have bought a lower price pre-built gun, but I really enjoyed researching the gun and putting it together. I tried to keep it simple but with some flair. I didn’t want to do the rail thing. Too passe’. I think I did alright. It came out to around $1200 and weighs about 7.5 lbs loaded.

Like it’s said, “This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine…”

LMT complete upper (16" 1/7 carbine, BCG, charging handle)
Anderson Manufacturing free float forearm, customizable p-rail settings; with low profile gas block
CMMG lower
RRA LPK
Magpul 10/20 magazines with integrated bullet button(Im in Kalifornia:mad:)
Magpul MOE stock and grip
Magpul AFG2
Troy ambi fire selector
Troy ambi single point sling adapter
Troy fixed battlesights.
I bought a chinese knockoff Aimpoint Micro for my Ruger 10/22. I put it on my AR to see how it looks. I like it. Gonna save my pennies to buy the real thing.

Things to get:
Troy ambi charging handle.
Aimpoint H-1 red drop.

Nice build, Did you get the 10/20 PMAG’s from RifleGear? Any issues with them?

I got them from my local gun shop. They work great. Having the BB on the mag is a great idea. Just practice with the mag and you can get very proficient in changing mags quickly.

Riflegear dont carry the 10/20 or 10/30 pmag with the Ultimate bullet button tool installed.

If you are looking for those, calegalmags.com have a option for them. You can choose whatever mag and have them install the UBBT for you.

looks good. cant go wrong with lmt.

I have two from RifleGear…work fine.

Nicely done

Looks sharp. Now go out and shoot it!

Ah Hells Yeah!
