Just wanted to share pics of my first build.

I came home from work today to find all of my packages. Felt like a kid again on Christmas morning.

I assembled the lower receiver last days off.

Build list:

LAR Grizzly Lower
DPMS LPK
JP Enterprises Reduced power Spring Kit
KNS Non Rotating Pin Set
Commercial buffer tube with Carbine Buffer
Magpul Stock, Grip and Trigger guard
BCM M4 Upper
BCM Charging Handle
BCM BCG Auto
CMMG 16" M4 barrel
Larue Tactical Handguard
Troy BUIS
Brownells 30rnd Magazines

Planning on getting an Aimpoint, but I have to rebuild the finances first.

It was kinda cool when I opened the packages. Larue threw if a few extra items a ball cap, bottle opener, a few stickers and some seasoning mix. Didn’t expect all that.

I was able to assemble everything this afternoon and everything went great. The only issue I seem to have had was I had to go to the upper end of the torque value to get the gas tube holes to line up. It also seems like the front sight post is a little canted to the left when looking down the barrel. I will get to check it out when I test fire and sight in. I kept the trigger from the parts kit but added the JP Enterprises reduced power spring kit and the KNS non rotating pin set. Not sure if in need the pin set after reading some posts on here but I ordered it before I read.

I have a question about my build. Is it necessary to check head space on a new build like this.

Looks good, It looks like your BUIS is moved forward one notch though. When it is folded down it should come to about the end of the rail.
