I’ve been a fan of Strider knives for a while, and I think I understand their raison de 'etre, thus, I’ve tried to get the ones I really like as soon as I could afford to.
These are my current users (also a GB, but I don’t have a pic of it yet). Just wanted to share these with you guys (I’ve already posted on other forums, but I really also want to post here).
Maybe we could start this as another knife picture thread. Who else carries what on their edc? Please post your pics.
Why do you have three EDCs? I have one EDC knife and one EDC handgun.
Why have more than one pair of boots?
Sometimes you just feel like running something a little different.
I was wondering the same thing, but I’m guessing he’s rotating them. I carry a Strider SA and Leatherman Micra (for small jobs) combo.
If I may? Different clothes, and different roles, require I carry three different sets of equipment.
Monday through Friday - it’s khakis and a polo shirt, carrying in a non-permissive environment. So the knife, firearm and OC are much more discreet.
Saturday - it’s jeans and boots, so it’s a much different knife. Open carry of a knife is not an issue here.
Sunday - armed usher at church. So it’s a concealed pistol, knife and OC. But I’m wearing a blazer or suit coat, so I can carry a larger version of the ironmongery.
The three knives are different, but all carried on the same side, in the same pocket, with the same opening method.
