I received a 1911 built from Lego blocks for Christmas from two of my Grand Daughters. The slide works. The hammer and trigger work. I think it is rather cool.
Maybe there is someone to continue what I do.

As a child of the 70’s-80’s I think that is AWESOME! A buddy of mine got his dad a Lego VW Bus that was great too. Cool to see them making a comeback with this generation.
Lego’s were a big part of growing up for me, I would love to have my old sets from growing up, but my mom gave them away. 
What I think neat is every part in this pistol is a std. Lego block of some sort. Even with the plans it took two of them the better part of the day to build. Lot more to be learned from this, than playing some video game.

I still love lego’s to this day, they are great for sparking creativity.
I actually still have mine from when I was a kid, stashed away in a huge tub for my girls. I doubt they will get from them what I did but will still be cool to see them play with them.
