MUR build completed

I just finished this tonight. Some of you probably saw the upper in Grant’s MUR build thread. I added the last few parts to the upper & just finished the lower that will be it’s new home. Only thing left to do is mount an optic.

On a side note, one thing I noticed immediately is how well the MUR finish matched my RRA lower, but also how well it fit. It is tight but has no slop & attaches much easier than my Sabre upper which is very tight. The DD Lite rails are very nice too. :smiley:

Thanks bro. I’ve been working on it for a while. I have to say Thanks to Grant at G&R for putting together the upper, it is awesome. Weather permitting, I’ll take it to the range this weekend.

Wow, I was thinking of building a rig almost exactly like that one! You must have ESP or something!

What type of optics are you going to use?

Well, i sorta wanted a double duty rig. I’ll run an Eotech on a Larue mount & a low power (1-4X) scope. I’m undecided on the make so far. Probably a Leupold, also in a Larue SPR mount.
