Multiculturalism down unda

We know the UK has pretty much allowed itself to be run over by the multiculturalism PC bus, but I thought Aussies didn’t tend to go for that nonsense. Supposedly posted on a beach at City of Greater Melbourne.

If I/we have to alter our behavior that does not directly impact someone else due to anothers culture/religion, how is that not their culture/religion superseding mine? That’s not multiculturalism, that’s allowing, in this case, Muslims to dictate what food I/you ate and how the woman I went to the beach with can dress.

If you don’t like what I’m eating or drinking or wearing at the beach due to your religion/culture, that’s your problem vs mine.

Would we ever have a sign saying saying please don’t mix meat and cheese as it could offend the Kosher Jewish community? Of course not.

I feel like I’m in bizzaro land…

I’d be showing up with a dog, a case of beer and fifth of whiskey, a whole hog, and a few strippers and an ISIS flag to wipe my ass with and ever GWOT vet I could muster at that place. And Bombs of Bagdad playing diring prayer time. It says refrain, not that it banned. Don’t like it? Go the back fuxk to the shithole you came from. And yes, it is a shithole. Mostly cuz of sheetheads like you.

I feel like it’s time to draw that line in the sand.

Enough already.

Yeah naw. No thanks.

These mopes are coming to MY country, not the other way around.

One thing that will ultimately save us is that we like being A-Holes too much to kowtow to these people.

I mean…

Just keep it in the mosque and it’ll all be gucci

Other then the flag, you have described my typical Saturday

Welll I can’t help it if you forget your ass wipe

That sign looks like it’s just printed paper, which makes it a likely fake. A friend was there recently enough and mentioned nothing like this, though he did say that their cabbies are all shits to people with kids, and just ignore fares with little ones, as they don’t want to bother installing the government mandated seat in their trunk.

Uh, Fly, I think you missed the irony of the meme.

Seat in the truck? Why wouldn’t you want to put the kids in the truck? :jester:

In the words of the great and notorious Mugatu “I feel like I’m taking crazy pills”

Word is, “…it’s is a real sign that exists on a beach in Melbourne, but it was put up by some random person, not the council.”

Cheeky of them to put that it’s a joint venture with the city council at the bottom. I expect city hall getting some angry phone calls for reasons they don’t understand.

The funny part is that the Muslims I know could care less if we go to dinner and I drink a beer while eating a pork chop. They just won’t have the same themselves. Although in fairness one I know drinks. So signs like this are more about idiots trying to keep people from being offended when the people they are worried about could care less.

Not ironic for me :sunglasses:

Oh yeah, I’d go out of my way to piss them off!

I’m sorry, I am tired of being told that I need to respect others while being disrespected myself. That turning the other cheek only goes so far ya know.

I have the same experience. In fact alcohol is not only not off the menu but it’s the first thing bought. The guys I know, the only thing they avoid is pork and only if you tell them. They eat whatever meat and don’t ask what it is so long as it’s not obviously pork

Had a Jewish friend who did the same… Said that if he knew it was pork it’s a no-go. If he was having a frank and didn’t know, whatever.

I’m not Jewish but I eat them Hebrew Nationals just because I don’t eat much pork for health reasons. Not good for the BP.

LOL, I know, you’ve probably got more Native American blood than my sister-in-law, and she gets insurance for free.

What I meant was I thought the meme was kinda like:

Said it before and I’ll say it again, something wrong with folks who don’t like dogs.

And bacon, can’t not like bacon…
