I have done business with them twice and have already formed an opinion, I was just looking for any opinions that others may have that do business with them.
Boy would I love to comment on this! ![]()

Grant, could you send me a PM, thanks.
Its better that I don’t. I have learned my lesson about spilling the beans on certain people (even though I do owe Wesly for his comments about me on TOS). I will just take the high road and adivse you that you can get just a good weapon built via ADCO or GTS as you can via MSTN for LESS money.

You forgot to mention G&R!![]()
BTW, on the LESS $$ comment, you’ve got that right.
Well, I thought it rude to include myself. ![]()

Been dinking around with ARs since the early 70s…made the midwest gun show circuit and was in the business back
when the only internet was Shotgun News…
Right now there are few folks I trust to build a rifle my family could depend on…and to be up front about quality…Grant (G&R Tactical) and Paul (Bravo Co) and Randall
Rausch… (AR15 Barrels)
other’s opinions and mileage will no doubt vary…
Just wondering aloud, but if you already have your own opinion of them, then what does it matter what others think of them?
Having said that, I’ve dealt with all the companies mentioned in this thread at least once, and I completely agree that you can get just as good a product for much less than MSTN.
Not being a price shopper, I have purchased three uppers and many other items from MSTN. I have always been satisfied with the service. I happen to appreciate that everything arrives mounted and ready to go.
I haven’t purchased anything in a while though, as email response has become slow or unreliable, and phone contact is rare. Plus, searching through the ads for items in stock is time consuming and not always accurate. I prefer frequently updated official websites, and have pretty much stopped purchasing from online vendors that do not note stock status.
I have had him build and complete 4 different AR15 uppers, and I am a %110 satisfied customer.
I might have paid a little more than some, but ALL my guns run, and I knew they would after his breakin/test fire.
This thread is WEAK. If you’re going to imply criticism, then either make that criticism openly and back it up, or keep quiet.
Thank you Zak. Shark, you’re free to state your opinion of MSTN based on your first hand experience(s) with them but this seems like stirring the pot…
Wes is GOOD PEOPLE!
Stirring the pot seems like it’s in direct opposition to our goal here…

I am a MSTN customer (as well as many others)
However since Wes is not a sponsor of this board I do feel it is inappropriate to pimp MSTN here, and that we as a board should focus more on the dealers and manufacturers that do support M4Carbine.
Spending pages educating people about Wes is not worth my time and I can back it up to a point that most people would never purchase from him again (Steve of ADCO can most likely do the same). I believe it is wrong to openly bash a competitor in public (like he did to me on TOS) so I will be the bigger man and walk away.
