  1. Do the 16" MRP barrels use a mid-length gas system?
  2. How much rail-estate is there? More than a CAR length rail or the same?
  3. Does LMT recommend thread-locking compound on the barrel bolts or just the specified torque?

Having a "little " time on these:

  1. Yes in 5.56, they use the carbine length in all the 6.8 stuff…I don’t know why, but it seems to work. They also use an angled gas port.

  2. A couple inches more than CAR length. Essentially it has rails over where the FSB would be.

  3. NO thread locker, just 140 inch lbs. of torque on both bolts.
