But its all mine and took me years to find one for sale.
Swedish dog sled for the Kg m/37 BAR.(I have no dog and snow deep enough to use it requires Hell’s cooperation)
The sled replaces the bipod and acts as a mount for the gun. The gun folds down into the sled for travel and has a spring loaded cover that protects the muzzle from any snow that might come in through the front. The ring at the back of the sled locks the doors closed and when its pulled straight back it releases the locks. The gun can then be pivoted up and fired right from the sled. Not sure what the dog is suppose to do while you are firing. The butt stock protrudes out the back of the sled when its closed up in transport mode.
That’s simply awesome. You definitely need to make a simulation video of it in action. I’ll lend you my wife’s King Charles Cavalier if you want to see what a dog does during live fire.
Transferable C&R gun all matching serial numbers. I know of only 2 in the USA. Its been a real challenge but I have found almost every accessory for it and I have numerous spare barrels and a parts kit. I’ve owned it for 15 years now. I bought a shit load of Swedish surplus 6.5X55 so I’m well stocked on ammo for it. Its a sweet shooting gun and makes the US BARs look like total shit. The Swedes really know how to finish a gun. The finish is original on the gun and it is a lovely deep blue. Every edge is crisp and straight. and there are no machining marks. Apparently some of the earlier Kg m/21 guns came in prior to 1968 and this was with them in mint condition. Still looking for the monopod for it as well as the AA sights and trainer sight.
Action cover / snow shoe on the bipod. The Swedes loved their MG accessories.
Made in 1927, its comping up on its 100th birthday
I’ve had my fill of snow here the last 3 days. Texas is not meant to be a frozen winter wonderland.
That is seriously nice. Only detraction I can think of is difficult ammo and doesn’t look like it would be an off the shoulder shooter.
I obviously don’t need to tell you that you have a seriously nice / rare one. I’m impressed by something firearms related about once every 10 years so I’m probably good till 2030.
