Mossie Midnight Mount...available?

I just bought 2 TLRs with the intention of putting them on Mossie Midnight Mounts, but now I have come to realize that the MMM doesn’t seem to be available (retail) anywhere. Are they out of business? Does anyone know where/if/how I can get one? Ultimately I want to have two of them.

yes, I added two of them to my cart and gave my CC number and completed the sale. I even got an order confirmation email. Unfortunately, they haven’t shipped, and they haven’t responded to my emails… I just checked their facebook page and it has been silent for over a year. Others have commented on the FB page that they have had a similar experience. Placed an order…then nothing happens. No shipping, no communication…nothing.

At least they haven’t charged my CC yet.

Recognizing it’s not the same thing but I bought the KZ version of this from botach and it works and has a qd cup

I think the “sold out” indicator at the bottom there means that its unavailable.

You might give them a call to find out if it’s made anymore.

Mounts up very solid, have a TLR1 on mine and you can mount it low enough to not have any of the bezel interfere with the sight picture.

I wouldn’t have recommended it if I thought it was crap:D

I went with the KZ alternative mentioned earlier in this thread. I can’t compare it to the MMM, but I am not at all disappointed with it. It seems a bit bulky at first, but once mounted with your light, it seems to be a solid and appropriate solution.

Last time I got one, it was labeled as Battlecomp Midnight Mount IIRC. Seems like vaporware either way though.

there is a company called dlp tactical that is selling an exact knock off of the pic rail version of the original mossie midnight mount. these are obviously from China as they’re only being sold on ebay and amazon, but if you have to have the functionality of the original, this is probably the only way if they are indeed discontinued.

edit to update: the dlp tactical unit is sort of crappy. the bottom hole is tapped from the back side toward the front and there’s no helicoil. the front is not clearance for a screw to go in. this means you cannot install the screw in from the front, you have to “unscrew” the screw out from the back. also the screws are too long.

this is no mossie midnight mount.
