Mossberg Customer Service

Upon shooting my new 590a1, I immediately noticed that the shell interrupter was dragging on the “next” shell. I called Mossberg today, and they are sending me a new interrupter. I learned that my gun was made in Eagle Pass, Texas. Oddly, I also have a Maverick 88 that functions smoothly, and this gun was made in the same plant. So, my experience with their customer service was good.

Let us know what time frame this happens on,I waited a good bit for a extractor from them.

Have you received the replacement part?

The part arrived today.

Wow. (2) weeks??!??! And you’re in the same state as the manufacturing plant?

I’ve owned several Mossbergs, 500, 590A1 and a 930. If you are truly a lucky person, you will get one that’s flawless and runs anything you put through it without hesitation. If you are just somewhat lucky, you will end up with a new hobby of fixing Mossbergs.

I only have one experience with Mossberg CS. My buddy (not very assertive) was wanting me to find and buy him a new front sling stud for his 500. I asked him what happened to the old one and he said it never had one. I picked up my phone, called Mossberg and told them of his plight and asked how much it would be for the stud. She didn’t answer right away and asked for his name, address and finish on the gun. I gave her the requested info and she said “Ok, we’ll get one out.” before I could ask the cost she said goodbye and hung up. It was about a week later that my buddy got the part in.

I was very happy with their CS and am proud to do business with them.
