This is one of my favorite examples that illustrates in hard numbers the hypocrisy, the aspect of woke progressive ideology that bothers me most: When I grew up in Brooklyn 70s/80s NYC schools were very mixed. As the city was taken over by wealthy progressive types, the result? The most segregated schools in the nation, the the level of “separate but equal” days.
This report does its best to dance around the real answer as to why, but it’s still very easy to figure out: They support progressive woke causes, they don’t want their kids mixing with the poor people:
