It astounds me the amount of power these people think that they can wield, having a cop try and dismiss a lady at a school board meeting, like’s its a court of law, just absurd
The power has gone to the head of school boards here in Virginia and it seems everywhere. They have been acting with impunity for far too long and are not use to having anyone question them.
I think parents just trusted them and these roles slipped under the radar but with kids being home and parents seeing what was being taught or not taught has opened their eyes.

Some of these schools have too much money that finds its way into the administrators pockets. Alot of those school board positions are stepping stones for people to get into local government. Coinsidence?
There are a lot of kids in private school in VA.
They do not like being called out for their hypocrisy. I don’t care if you are the duly sworn and elected dog catcher or POTUS. They just hate to be lumped in with us commoners. I do like the school board person chiming up and defending her, said ‘you don’t have to like it, but it’s her time (to talk)’. And I effing hate the mealy-mouth/jelly-spine LEOs who will just do what they say without ever thinking about if it’s legal (forget moral, ethical, or right).
Don’t these people have names? Don’t people with names usually have addresses? If you look up the name and have the address, can’t you think of a better way to make your point?

I don’t have a problem with the Deputy. He’s there for security, the board lady called him forward. He didn’t see any rules being violated and ignored the order to remove her.
He was called off of her by other board members.
Considering he heard the hypocrite calling for him he had to have heard what he was being called for and advanced on the lady in the right anyway.
I think the cyber-stalking on facebook was hilarious. It sure hit a nerve with Ms. School Board Lady.
At the 13:19 mark a father askes the school board in Prince William County VA about the sexual assault of his daughter and the punishment.
You can see the security coming closer to him, and the board couldn’t care less about his issue.

No school should have it’s own police force, nor should it control any police assets. No police force should waste resources by posting officers up at school board meetings. If school board members have a criminal complaint, then they can call 911 just like everyone else.
Stop treating these people on school boards like they’re special, and maybe they’ll stop acting special!

Wondering if the officer was off duty and working on the side (being paid by the school board) vs being on duty and being paid normally???
We have a few big churches here that hire local sheriff deputies to direct traffic at their locations on particular days and while they do wear their uniforms while working for those churches - They churches are the ones paying them and they are not actually ‘on duty’.
I would not at all be surprised if that officer was off duty and hired by the school board for the sole purpose of intimidating the parents.

That was screwed up.
That guy had a really simple question and those bozos clearly wanted to get rid of him (without even trying to answer him) as fast as they could.
Working a 2nd job with issued uniform and equipment should be a complete no go.

I know a few deputies here that have done that sort of work and they told me directly who paid them.
The County did not offer up their services for free… All volunteer work where they get paid by the church for their time but full uniform and equipment while they are doing the work.
It is ultimately wrong anywhere and everywhere it happens and always has been.

Absolutely no difference between Bobby Jimmy and Jim Bob that work for the county parks department using the county owned bulldozer and backhoe in their after hours excavating business and Deputy Fife using issued kit in his side gig except Bob and Jim are a heck of a lot less likely to rope tax payers in to bearing the burden of a big dollar deprivation of rights law suit while out digging footers.
