I’m loving my new Maxpedition Active Shooters Bag, having lots of fun with picking and choosing the contents and such. I bought the one with the PALS front, and I want to add a 1911 holster and mag carrier. There don’t seem to be as many offerings out there as I expected, but I did come across this unit by Condor:
If I go with this it will solve two problems(pistol/mag) at once, but I thought I’d run the idea by you fine folks here first! And YES, I know thats not a 1911 in the pic…
I’ve tried several Molle holsters for the 1911, to include the type you are considering and they all worked fine, though I had some negative issues with all of them, speed of draw, reholstering, etc., I finally settled on the Blackhawk Serpa CQC w/ Molle attachment.
Rock solid, easy draw and reholster. avilable in Black, tan. Ranger green, OD & the Cocealment model in Grey
None of the holsters your looking at are specificaly made for the 1911, they are all generic and some fit better than others.

I run a 6004 ALS with DBT MOLLE adaptor, but the new MLS/QLS system should work flawlessly.
Peters Custom could also set you up with a SPADA - those work great (though mine is for an M&P FS)
