I’m wanting to try a new grip and the MOEK is appealing to me. I like a narrower grip and I think the angle would be more comfortable.

Does anyone know if the plug for a standard A2 grip will fit on one? Or, if a plug is available. Do the MIAD inserts fit?

If anyone has impressions of this grip I would like to hear them.

I used the K grip for a while. The angle was nice on it, but I found it very thin and uncomfortable in my hand. I ending up swapping to a MIAD.

Wait for the K2 from Magpul’s SHOT announcement - Uses MIAD grip cores and has a much better look and texture than the K. We should see it mid-2015.

It was a joke - you obviously weren’t around waiting for the MOE+ grip.

Magpul has already said these should be shipping sometimes relatively soon.

I would either wait for the K2 or buy an Umbrella Corporation grip. While the umbrella does not take grip cores, it is the best feeling grip ive used so far.

I put an MOE K on my wife’s rifle as she has tiny hands. It works well for her but I do not care for having to exaggerate the curl of my trigger finger.

Wait, I’m only familiar with the miad, and then the Moe (basically like a solid miad with the middle sized backstrap permanently attached. ) What other AR grips does magpul make?

Put one on last night, on my 15-22 for test purposes since my 7 year old shoots it a lot anyway.

I do like the angle, but it is to small as suggested. I’ll keep it on there for him- but I’m in the market for a similar angle but longer and thicker, hopefully with a storage compartment. (I don’t really need a “core.”)

Looks like the MOA plus deserves a try, does it have the same angle?

I tried the MOE K and it was too thin for me. You should look at the BCM Gunfighter grip. Similar angle but in a bit larger package.

just put one on my house gun that I shoot with the stock almost fully collapsed. it’s very nice but a little slick. I may try to stipple it a bit…

It was a little too slick for my tastes so i had a friend stipple it and its my favorite grip.

I just put a couple of BCM mod 0 grips on my DD’s and I really like them a lot. I have small hands so I went with the mod 0 and they worked out great for me.

they need to make these reduced grip angle grips in “orangutan” size so i can try them out. tired of shooting off the deck and getting up with a sore wrist.

I love the MOE-K.

It’s basically an AK grip for an AR.

thanks for that. I sensed it was good but immediately started thinking grip sleeve?, tape?, stipple???

also, I’d like the ability to simply store something in the grip - batts, a bottle of lube, etc…
