MOE is lighter and its 6.85 oz for carbine-length. Standard m4 is about 9-10 oz.
Theres vid. on You Tube were the weigh stock and magpul stuff side by side, mags, handguards, stocks etc…From what i remember some magpul stuff was heavy…i looked but cant find the link but its on there some were…lol
MOE is cool man! except my handguard has a little too much slop in it.
More likely than not, this is being caused by a weak spring under your slip ring.
i was about to say the same thing. just double check to ensure everything is installed correctly both on the delta ring and top ring.
MOE stands for Magpul Original Equipment
(please correct if I’m wrong)
Most are better than the cheap commerical type stuff than some rifle companys use. Love my MOE stock and Gips.
grips as in pistol grips or handguards?
Also cheap commercial type stuff, you mean just generic milspec type furnature?
OP use the search feature here on the site. There is a chart of a metric ass ton worth of parts weights in one of the threads that shouldn’t be too hard to find that Rob started.
