What’s the verdict on this fellas? I’m about to file a Form 1 on a Zastava PAP M92PV and the serial number is in the form of M92PV######. I recall reading a thread where there was some ATF run around because someone included the model number portion of the serial number in the Form 1 serial number block. Do we or don’t we include the M92PV in this case? To me, It’s part of the serial number and shouldn’t be omitted. Thanks.
I copy the serial number exactly as it appears on the item.
The issue with that was an inept BATFE examiner thinking because the serial number on a Spikes Form 1 lower began with “SBR”, they thought “SBR” was not part of the actual serial number as engraved on the firearm and was somehow related to “Short Barrel Rifle”
