I have a DPMS panther lite 16 and I am looking to replace the A1 upper with a flattop A3 receiver. I am considering registering my rifle as an sbr and pay the $200 for said rifle. I have been searching for reasonable uppers and i came across Model 1 Sales. I am unfamiliar with this company and I was wondering if anyone has their product or dealt with them and if they make a good product. They state that all products are made in the US so that is one plus and they make complete uppers for about $400-$500

IMHO - Model 1 = Junk
Complete upper for $400 when LMT - costs $485 less BGC / CH / Handguards
Where did the savings come from?
Model 1 sales has the entire upper assembly w/charging handle and bolt for the $400
Exactly complete upper for $400 vs stripped quality upper for $485.
In order to sell a complete upper for that low of a price Model 1 must have used substandard materials and skimped on quality control.
