Looking to put together either a 9mm or 7.62x39 AR. Anybody have any experience with the Model 1 Sales kits? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

I’ve heard good and bad about them but mostly bad! If it were me I woud save up a little more cash and buy good parts. There are a lot of company’s that offer good 9mm and 7.62x39mm parts kit. I know how it is to be strapped for cash but its always worth waiting that extra month or two to save up for quality parts;)
My bro in law bought a CAR15 kit from them … it’s not bad. For a range toy there is nothing wrong with them in my opinion. The carrier key is staked with a straight chisel - they use ER Shaw barrels, no complaints there - commercial size receiver extensions/buffer tubes … easily upgradeable parts.
I am thinking about building a 7.62x39 with one of thier uppers.
Not SHTF/HD material but … they go bang.
