Anyone who have photos and/or spec of the Mk 18 Mod 1 setup? Including the original sights, DD rail, forward grip and stock it comes with when issued!

Damn I used to use one several years ago for VBSS/MIO but I dont remember specifics. SOPMOD stock and LMT rear sight stick out. Maybe I used a Mod 0 then because I think they had KAC rails.
Yup, sounds like the Mod0! The new one has the DD Mk18 (9.5") rail. Amazingly no pics of it is to be found! (the issued version…)
I think there may have been a quick view of one in a recent issues of SAR. Had a picture of NSWC-Crane’s booth at a show. I’ll see if I can track it down.

Thnx for the links, but bit confusing! Both carry the DD RIS II rail though… and that’s basically where the similarities end. I’m really looking for the issued setup. Anyone who has the true spec on the real deal for SOPMOD Block 2 (Mk18 Mod1)?

I love this MK18 Forum. I got get me a DD MK18 RIS rail and cut my new in paper in Colt 14.5 barrel and build me a upper.
I really like the Mk18.
I was just looking on the Daniel Defense website and on the front page, it looks as if they will soon be making Mk18s with the 10.3" bbl. It would be really cool if they offered factory SBRs.

I built a MK18ish build with one of those about 5-6 months back, very nice barrels, a lil pricey, but nice
In the process of building a Mk18 Mod 1 clone; base rifle is a Colt 6920 with the 16 inch barrel (minimum length allowed by law in my state) and it will have the following components (rail, taper-pinned gas block, flash suppressor, and sling plate will be installed by ADCO):
-LMT SOPMOD Stock
-Dieter CQD Rear Sling Mount
-KAC 200-600 Rear Folding BUIS
-Aimpoint Comp M4 RDS on respective Larue QD Mount
-DD Mk18 RIS II
-KAC Low Profile Gas Block
-KAC Front Folding BUIS
-KAC Flash Suppressor

Wish I could have that here although I imagine a 6920 with a 10.3" barrel swap would be much cheaper (and you then could sell the 6920 barrel). $1,795.00 from SAW for those wondering. Real nice rifle regardless.
SAW also does a Mod X version. Elmore built both of mine. Works of art…
