Mitt Romney Slow Jams the News with Jimmy Fallon

Seeing clips from the Mitt film and appearances like this reminds me of Dole in 1996. Bob Dole’s handlers had him so hemmed in he looked like a stiff during the campaign. Then he did a couple of TV appearances the weekend after the election and revealed a much more relaxed guy with a genuine sense of humor. If they’d let that Bob Dole out of the box a month or two earlier, he might have won the election. I think Romney’s advisors and staff made the same mistake.

For sure the handlers screwed up big time, they have them so wound up tight, that their real character & sense of humor is suppressed.
