The Missouri House and Senate passed a law preventing enforcement of ALL Federal Gun Laws that almost overcame a veto by the Governor. It would be hard for Missouri to be more pro-gun than it currently is. A very, very solidly pro-gun state. a model state in many regards.
Political grandstanding by a couple of Urban Democratic Legislatures in safe districts so they can take some Bloomberg money.
Lets see, some of our democrat law makers have been indicted for fraud, another who introduced a legal marijuana bill had one of her staffers caught with marijuana shortly there after, a few others indicted for other offenses. Yea the democrats need to clean their own house here in Missouri before they come after me, a law abiding citizen.
This bill wont even make it out to a floor vote. The R’s own the house and senate here in Missouri, I think the term is “veto proof majority”.
Dont get me wrong we have some ground to make up on the 2a front, but overall I am very happy to be living in Missouri when it comes to our gun rights.
The two behind this bill tried the same drivel last year. The backlash was brutal and they proceeded to whine about how mean everyone was being. But Rory Ellinger would be happy to be your divorce attorney.
I wish we could deport these two clowns to California.

It would be suicidal to attempt to confiscate firearms here in SW Missouri and they know it in Jeff City.
