Nothing much. I no longer like carbine handguards as I prefer to hold my support hand out as far as I can reach on the fore grip. So I removed the carbine grip. I had to cut the gas block in half. Since on a .22lr the gas block just holds the handguard on and gives you a place to mount the front sight cutting it was not a big deal. I then installed a rifle lenght hand guard in forest green from Calvary Arms. Money is tight right now so I could not afford to go with a free float system. Honestly I don’t think I need it on a 22 lr training rifle.
